We seek and take advantage of opportunities that develop partnerships, build web tools, and allow participation in strategic discussions that encourage or enable inventory.

For instance, this quarter we have several partnerships in development that will directly result in discovery through new inventories; have launched the E-Type Initiative which will directly result in accelerated description by imaging 50 percent of primary type specimens and putting them on the web; and have produced new web tools which will directly result in simplified dissemination of species information.
